Because only the official labels on product packaging guarantee that the cosmetic complies with certain manufacturing and composition rules, all Léonia products are certified organic by an independent organization: Ecocert, and are Cosmébio certified. Our products also meet the requirements of the Vegan Society and are therefore labeled Vegans .
The effectiveness of our formulas is based on the selection of precious biological active ingredients for your skin . The White Tea present in our treatments, recognized as the most powerful antioxidant in the world, provides multiple benefits. Our laboratory meticulously designs formulas adapted to the needs of our customers by combining sensoriality and effectiveness . Léonia products undergo a series of tests: conservation, dermatological, compatibility with our packaging, stability as well as product safety.

All Léonia products are certified organic by Ecocert . To be certified organic, each of our products must meet all the strict rules established by the Cosmos Organic specifications developed by Ecocert.
This includes:

What is the difference between organic and natural cosmetics?
An organic cosmetic is made from natural ingredients from Organic Farming . Synthetic and petrochemical ingredients are replaced by ingredients that provide real benefits to the skin . A natural cosmetic is not regulated: it has no labels or certifications. Its composition may, in fact, contain natural ingredients but may also contain other more toxic components such as parabens, PEGs, silicones, mineral oils or even synthetic perfumes.
At Léonia, we are committed to offering certified organic treatments : we completely exclude components that are harmful to health and the environment.
Labeled vegan by the vegan society
All our Léonia treatments are labeled vegan by the Vegan Society . The presence of this label guarantees that no ingredients of animal origin (no milk, eggs, honey, and beehive products...) It also guarantees that no tests have been carried out on animals , neither for the manufacture of the ingredients, nor for the finished product. It is important to know that since 2013, the European Union has banned animal testing in the cosmetics industry. A great step forward for the respect of wildlife and one that is particularly close to our hearts.

Switching to organic helps avoid carcinogenic components and endocrine disruptors. There's no risk of compromising your health by applying these creams daily. For expectant mothers, it also guarantees they won't pass any dangerous ingredients on to their baby.
